How To Start Your Mornings

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?

Your mornings set the tone for the rest of the day. We all know this. If you get off to a bad start, oftentimes the rest of your day follows suit.

It is therefore inevitable that your mornings will shape your daily life and hence the need to have the right headspace to go out and face the world in whatever it is you do, on a day-to-day basis.

Open the window or step outside and let the light rush in.

There’s nothing like fresh air and sunshine to reconnect to you to your essential nature.

Nature can fill you well with positive energy.

Practice mindfulness.

Learn to cultivate peace. Mindfulness helps you to reflect and come into the present moment and ground yourself to the here and now. Five minutes of mindfulness practice will set a calmer tone for your day.

Write down your goals.

What do you want to achieve during this day? What are your dreams? Note them down! This will help you carry your dream around as an image as you run through the day. And obviously easy for reference and a reminder.

Simple work outs.  

Practice simple work outs that can be done from home. Don’t overstretch yourself and do too much because it will tire you early in the day. Instead be moderate and do the simple exercises.

Your morning rituals influence your life, pay attention to every detail.
